A little about me:
My family moved to Australia when I was four where I got my first experience in waves.  I didn't touch a surfboard though until I was 12 when my swim coach, Jason Cross took the team to Lawrencetown.  I represented Nova Scotia in baseball nationals and played a bunch of sports in school but my main focus was competiteve swimming for nearly 8 years, until 15 when injuries cut down on my training time and allowed me to get to the beach more. I picked up my first official sponsor, Quiksilver, at the age of 18 and have been with them since.  I'm currently working on my land overlooking Lawrenctown and surfing as much as I can.

IN OTHER WORDS…

East Coast surfing at its best. No one has quite pushed the envelope in this part of the world the way that Nico has. I’ve seen this guy go out on the worst days and pull off some of the craziest maneuvers and not even think twice. Nico has been around the world, just ripping the absolute snot out of any sort of wave you can imagine, from 10 foot plus Indo barrels, to 2 foot Tea House, this guy can do it all. He has pushed the next generation and the standard of surfing on the east coast to an all time high. Not only does Nico shred, but he is also a local lifeguard and a really good all around person. People like Nico don’t come around very often, so next time you see him paddle out, sit back and enjoy the show because this guy will blow your mind..
