Surfing Lessons - Near Halifax Nova Scotia

We are lucky enough to offer surf lessons at one of Nova Scotia‘s most beautiful beaches. Lawrencetown Beach is our provinces surfing hub with a variety of breaks in the area, located just outside Halifax. Whether you’re new to the sport or have been surfing for years, our instructors can identify your skill level and tailor your experience to propel your surfing ability. At Kannon Beach, creating a fun and supportive surf environment that encourages people of all ages and skill-levels to learn, grow and excel at every aspect of surfing, is our top priority.

Lessons are typically taught between May – November. Lesson are weather dependent, meaning the date/time at which your lesson is scheduled can vary on any given day and may be subject to rescheduling if the weather/surf conditions are unsafe or ‘un-fun’ – we’re all about having fun!

Below is a breakdown of your surf lesson choices!

* COLD WATER RATE *

As we move into winter months in Nova Scotia, water and air temperature drops, swell size increases, and weather becomes more harsh. Our cold water lesson rate reflects the additional challenges these conditions provide to our instructors. From November-May, $50 is added to each rate shown below.
